Your birthright is to express, honor and believe in your unique, creative visions. During this intimate, seaside retreat, you will have the space to explore the depths of your yoga practice and channel it’s benefits to master the art of spirit flow. Cultivating spirit flow is allowing the creative process, that is life itself, to unfold in each one of us individually during retreat, so that we can witness and learn how to love and appreciate ourselves daily. This slowing down is exactly what your body and creativity is aching for.
Daily Practices
Erica and Mari will weave Vinyasa Flow + Kundalini + Meditation + Dance + Ceremony + Healing + Creativity with a tender spirit to reinvigorate your personal practice. Commanding alignment in your body relates directly to your thinking and you'll learn how to incorporate these mindsets into your daily life.
Yoga is practiced twice daily in the sunset or sunrise shalas, on top of a luscious mountain overseeing the Pacific Ocean. The expansive sunset views, the warm summer ocean breeze and the healing properties of the mineral ocean will be shrines to our conscious movement and creative transformation.
Seducing the Muse
How are you tending and consciously cultivating your spirituality, sexuality, and creativity in your life right now? Art and expression is a profound part of our practice while on retreat. To reveal your self-imposed blocks and shed light on the unseen, Erica and Mari have set the scene with inner artist stations, containing avenues of paint, body paint, earth + sea mandala making, music, movement and writing. These explorations in radical expression will help further your self-study and allow you to stay in a place where the creativity is fertile.
Self-Care
This is where solid becomes liquid. After profound pranayama, asana, meditation and creativity practices, we will learn to massage our hearts, chest, neck, arms and hands to transform aggression into admiration. It is so important to be comfortable in our skin and to adorn our bodies with an attitude of self-respect. Expect the tone of this retreat to call out the healing properties of self-love and beauty.
Haramara
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you will be cared for and nurtured. Haramara, “one of the 10 best yoga retreats in the world.” (Yoga Journal), is located 45 minutes north of the airport in Puerto Vallarta, near the quaint town of Sayulita. Roundtrip airport transfers are included in the price to ensure a stress-free arrival and departure.
Seven days at Haramara is the idyllic, creative pause that will refuel your daily practices. Close your eyes, let go of control and feel that it is the stillness that draws you in and inspires more work.
