Since a very early age, I had the curiosity to learn to be in the present while seeing the big picture. This journey has led me to develop a multi-disciplinary practice that integrates extensive research and 10+ years of experience teaching and working in areas at the intersection of Mind, Body, Behavior and Design.
I didn't specialize in one style, I didn't stick with only one school of thought or one Guru, instead I learned to pursue my curiosity, dive deep through experience, practice daily and rigorously and integrate the learnings by sharing with others.
I'm an active curator and creator of visual imagery and research, as I believe our visual culture is a great way to explore the science of mind, consciousness transformation, evolutionary thinking and the future of Self in our digital era.
I've practiced and trained with teachers from different philosophies and meditation techniques: Vedic Thought, Theravada Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Contemplative Fitness, Vipassana Meditation, Presencing, Pranayama, Chanting and more than a dozen types of Yoga.
I find fascinating that we are at a point in history where science is catching up with ancient eastern meditative traditions. Since I arrived to San Francisco, I've been very curious to explore with a scientific and philosophical perspective, the questions behind how our brain works, the mystery behind consciousness, perception and sense of self. In my blog you'll find scientific research I've assembled, and reflections on my conversations with some of the top thinkers, futurists and scientists in the Bay Area.
I explore our body intelligence through dynamic vinyasa yoga and contemporary dance. I've trained in Ashtanga Yoga, Rocket Yoga, Ayurveda, Vedic Philosophy, Dosha Asana, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Qi-Gong, Tai-Chi, Reiki, Mudras, Mantras, Shamanism, Somatic Massage, ballet, contemporary dance, 5Rhythms and expressive movement. I combine styles to explore the body-mind connection and experience the subtle energetic body in movement.
In my classes you are doing an active meditation and recognizing by experience the mind-body-soul connection; I invite you to grow into clarity of purpose of being alive inside of this body and feel the joy of embodiment and presence.
Fascinated by human relationships, culture, media and technology, through ethnography and critical anthropology, I study people's behavior to understand societal patterns and global cultural shifts.
Through my innovation practice, I combine ethnographic research methods, developmental psychology, behavior change, evolutionary thinking, critical theory, social psychology and cyborg-anthropology to help organizations and individuals make meaning of this rapidly evolving modern digital life.
I see the world in systems and interconnected patterns. I strive to use my work as a design thinker to help find simple solutions to help our humanity thrive. I graduated from an MBA in Design Strategy which gave me a systematic problem solving approach to face humanity's complex problems. I co-founded Metapattern an Intentional Design Studio to help build brands and experiences on the frontier of humanistic technology. I look for patterns and strive for simplicity, elegance and thoughtfulness.
I combine Design Thinking and Yoga & Mindfulness, to infuse with meaning and intention every aspect of my classes, workshops and client projects.
I strive to create stories, images and interactive experiences that serve as a reminder of our socio-cultural evolution and integration as interconnected human beings.
